The Criminal Complaint was filed on September 28, 2018 with the detailed Affidavit in Support.  

At the same time the Govt filed its Motion to Seal that was granted.

Then on October 1, 2018, the Govt filed a Motion for Amended Order to Seal motion to amended the order sealing the docket to permit them to

“disseminate copies of and information about these documents to other U.S. federal agencies, foreign authorities, and victims, in order to execute the arrest warrant, coordinate federal government and law enforcement activity prior to unsealing, and provide information to victims.”

That motion for an amended order was granted.

Then 18 days later the court unseals the docket.

In my opinion they got wind that she was going to leave Russia and they have her in custody. I’d give it 75% likelihood.

I’ll try to do a red-line.  A quick look, the first one had 66 physical PDF pages. This First Amended Complaint has 87 so there is likely to be new allegations. I note that the caption has the same defendants and apparently the same claims.

I’m still digging but here is the ORDER entered today in which the Supreme Court vacated the stay Chief Justice Roberts granted over the weekend.  The case is pending in the DC circuit but they did not stay it.  So that forced them to seek a stay in SCOTUS.  CJ Roberts is the justice who handles the DC circuit so it went to him first.

The DC district court had granted summary judgment On August 18, 2018 declaring an amended federal regulation regarding campaign financing disclosures invalid and staying for 45 days.  Here is the district court’s Memorandum Opinion

A very quick read of the end of the very long Memorandum Opinion says to me that the FEC has to immediately vacate the regulation that allows big money donors to hide their identity.

Here is the business end of the opinion.  

Here is the docket in the DC Circuit. I don’t see anything that should stop CREW from getting the Dark Money donors information. Personally, I think this is what has the Senate GOP so panicked about Kavanaugh.
