SDNY filed an information that was much less detailed that the original complaint. Now it is a conspiracy count and a unauthorized SAR disclosure count. Look’s like it’s getting ready go to trial but they have been talking for about two months.
Here is the original Complaint. Very detailed. Eighteen single spaced pages. Buzzfeed was the recipient of the purloined SARs.
Yesterday they filed an Information and she waived indictment. Five double spaced pages. Short and sweet.
I will defer to people who have been federal prosecutors to opine what this all could mean. But my guess is a larger indictment is out there somewhere.
