I don’t know what to make of it but I was poking around the DC dockets and I stumbled upon what looks like a load of sealed cases filed in the last 8 days. Link

20190802 criminal for 8 days
I ran a database report query for all criminal dockets filed from 7/26 to 8/2. I found the ones I reported yesterday and today but about a dozen more that don’t show in the query screen I use to check the dockets daily.
The last one was an anomaly: 19-6. So I assumed it was 19-cr-6 and predicted it was sealed at one time. It was and confirmed it had activity in the docket that appears to have been picked up by my query. So I conclude the “sealed” database flag does not necessarily terminate when a case is unsealed.

I read judge Nichol’s order in DC on the NY state tax return issue as adopting NY AG position pending NY motion to dismiss, I presume on subject matter jurisdiction. Seems reasonable to me. Link to order.
